I've never owned a Mustang, and never owned a black car, but for some reason the Black GT is very appealing.
Other than constant cleaning, are there any other drawbacks to a black car - hot in summer, etc.?

I have super soft lint free cloths in my car, with some damp armour all wipes and glass wipes. I wipe down my tires, weather stripping, glass, rims and body every day before driving it, and when parking it. I am going to get her washed and detailed for the second time this weekend, cept it will be done this time by a pro, and he will wax it, and really do it up right. He will be on retainer, and do that every two weeks.
I am thinking of investing in a car cover. I never used a dash cover for when I have to park in the open, and none of my dashes have ever cracked.
The up keep is the absolute WORST thing about a black car, especially when its a car like this. This car looks soooooooo freaking good in black, when its shiney, and at its best. When I see mine dirty, its almost painful.
