Hey... question... how hard are the louvres to install? Does it affect visibility? Does it help keep the car cooler?

I've thought about getting them and installing them in lieu of a tint-job (both on the rear glass and the rear-quarters), but I honestly don't want to drop the money for them and then find out they're troublesome and end up taking them off and selling them as used on e-Bay. Help would be appreciated.

I know this question was posed to me. But I had the bodyshop mount them after they painted them. They said it was pretty easy. As far as visiblity. The still work for checking that blind spot.

louvers are very easy to install uses 3m tape. Also before getting them maybe take a cardboard piece and cover it up for awhile and see how you like it.

and as for keeping the car cooler it cant hurt because your blocking the sun from them windows
Hope that helps.

I'm just making up a topic while I (patiently?) wait for my '06 Black GT. I probably have 6-8 more weeks

Anything you want to talk about is OK with me..... the floor is yours !!

(But you must either have a black GT, have a black GT on order, or have "black GT envy")

Again, the floor is yours... topic please?
Post pics of old meets new.

Keeping it there is tough

I installed them my self It took me about 2 hours. But I measured about 50 times before I took the tape off the 3M mounts. BTW if any one gets the louver kit you should know that the template they send don’t match the mounts. So before cutting the template match up the hardware with it so it is exact. I have no problem seeing out the back window. And the look of the louvers IMO are HOT!!!! eace:

You go, girl !

Heh! Funny. I still find I could get intro trouble in this thing. The *only* gripe I have with this car is a sluggish takeoff from a stop in 1st gear unless I drive-it-like-I-just-stole-it. Combination of V6 (versus GT V8) and 3.31 Rear Axle (Versus GT's 3.55 real axle w/ the manual) probably account for this.
