I think it is a combination of reasons for not wanting 20's. Unwanted stress on the drivetrain of a daily driver, comprimised ride quality possibly, loss of performance due to more unsprung weight, cost of tires.. etc.. I think for this application, 18's are fine

I'll have to agree.........a project car should be something more unique and different. The wheels are nice but there are so many of them out there (I had them on my '01) be more bold so the "project" makes a statement.

I was hoping for a set of these Konigs:
But I couldn't find a willing sponsor.

I love the deep dish bullitts Brad. I think they will look perfect on the car. BTW, do you know what the widest tire you can fit on the 10" wide rims is?
Someday they will be on my Mach 1.

I agree that these are a lot more unique. Hopefully you will be able to upgrade to these bad boys and keep your current setup for track use
Good luck.

Hey Brad, Do you foresee any clearance problems with the front brake calipers? My 06 Vert will be here in a few weeks and I am a little worried with the changes that were made with the 06's using calipers from three suppliers. Good luck on your project. I am looking forward to starting mine. BTW great site! I hardly visit the other ones anymore.
