I took PSH to my hometown of Huntsville, Ala., this weekend for the annual Rocket City Mustang Show. She didn't do very well--tied for fourth with a bone stock 2006 GT convertible in the 2006-2007 Popular Vote class. She just doesn't draw attention like the GT500 or the three Grabber Orange cars in the class, including a Saleen Parnelli Jones car. I'd love to hear your suggestions for helping PSH draw more votes--maybe a GT500 front end conversion?
Anyway, while I was up there I got to stop by the U.S. Space & Rocket Center and snap a few pix with my favorite aircraft--the A-12 Blackbird.

Brad, It was good to see you again!! I thought your car is still the slickest looking car I've seen......I talked to alot of people who thought your car was awesome!!
I'll agree that the Black/White GT-500 and the Parnelli Jones car across from you did draw a lot of attention. (But they were bone stock, Special Editions) Your car has so many details that I don't think folks take enough time to look your car over and notice all the time and efforts that you have given your car. I'm not sure I would change anything yet!
Hold your head high my friend

Brad,
First of all PSH looks great. One of the best modified S197's I have seen. Every part works in concert and the whole package is great. That being said I can see how you may have trouble competing against some SE's such as Shelby GTs and PJ Saleens. I am a huge fan of the GT500 nose, I always thought it looked more aggressive than the stock GT so I say go for it, but I will let others respond.
Perhaps a poll to see what modifications people think would work.

I dunno man...
The HID's and the blacked-out grille are so nice. I love the GT500 front end, but I am afraid that it might get too common, like everyone changing their 67 or 68 to an Eleanor. I say leave the front end, and maybe do a Cali Special bumper at most. Or anything custom is always nicer than stealing a different version's stock part (if that makes sense)

I agree with bullittman68, the PJ front fascia with your HID’s would make a great combination. I also like the Xenon aggressive front fascia, which is what I am going to use, as it has a very subtle difference from stock. I think the GT500 front fascia looks great but I think the conversions are becoming too common.
