With the new blower going on, plus gobs of other power increasing mods, are you going to swap out the internals? I've seen a few threads where the rod went through the block on a high HP blown 3V. I was wondering if you were looking for a vendor to hook you up with some internals so you can go 500hp+ with all your goodies. thanks.

We are going to stay on the conservative side with the blower for now. Aiming for the 450rwhp point. That way we can stay with the stock internals with a bit of safety. I would personally love to go ahead and build a forged lower end and port the heads and aim for a nice 575rwhp or so, but it is a dailey driver and i think Brad will be more than happy with 450.

What is involved with doing the pistons and rods when you are installing the blower. Since the engine is partly dismantled....is it easier at that point to get to those parts? What would pistons rods and install run?

We're going to shoot for 450rwhp on the dyno, then tune it down to about 383rwhp for daily driving.

To replace the rods/pistons, you'd have to pull the entire engine and break it down. No way to easily replace everything with the engine in the car. Thats why we are sticking to the stock internals for now.

D'oh. I was hoping for gobs of horsepower.

That's cool. I'll just wait until 383rwhp feels slow to you, and you go looking for more. Cause I know it's going to happen.

Why did you choose 383 as opposed to say, 400?

Because we have a tested tune at 383rwhp. I don't want anything over about 410 for daily driving.
