I liked the contrast with the blue, but it was a bit difficult to see - I think adding the black to the tungsten will look better, and the use of the Mach stripe is a great idea that fits your car well.

Check www.Fangperformance.com for lots of '70 Mach I layout pictures on the S197 chassis. They have a great looking carbon fiber stripe embedded hood that was at the 2004 SEMA show.

Very nice! Much better. Did Paul come up with any sample pieces to test color combos?

I honestly have no idea. Im sure he will chime in when he has a chance. They were rushing to get this done in time for the MCA Pensacola show.

OK,
Now I accept that this vehicle represents what the stock GT Mustang has the potential to become! I love it!

Talk CDC into fixing your headlights and it's done!

No, we were running to short on time to get the car ready for the show in Florida. We tossed around a few ideas and just felt that this would look best with all the other dark colors on the car. This also makes it easy to duplicate if we needed to...when you start playing with colors and adding pearl or other tints you have to carefully document them in order to have the ability to duplicate for repairs or whatever.

We felt that just plain tungsten on the hood would have been too plain...the overall look of the car just needed "something" to set it apart...

That looks awesome with the darker stripe! PSH is looking so close to finished, you must be so happy with how it's come along.

I am excited. It's been a long road, but it's very near the end.

Here are a few new pix. The engine bay isn't quite finished--we still have to paint the Shaker base Tungsten and install the black MUSTANG inserts on the plates on each side and paint and install the Midwest Auto Gear radiator cover extensions. The Midwest Auto Gear shock tower covers don't fit over the Tokico shocks; we're going to have to toy with them to get them to work.

Do you have the new lower grill on from Agent 47 yet? I looked in the latest three pics you posted and it looks like you installed it.

Yes, the lower grille is on but the brake cooling kit has not been installed.

Scothew and I (mostly Scothew) are going to install the multimedia system next week. I hope I can get the car back to SVP the week of April 2 to finish up most of the work on the car.
