Foose Hood & CDC Shaker On!

What do you think of the stripe? It's Tungsten plus 15 grams of blue.

I love the idea and look, but there are a couple things that don't look right IMO.
It looks like the hole is not centered correctly front to back.
Not for sure if I like the look of no trim ring around the edge of the shaker hole.

It's a 1970 Mach 1 stripe:

Is the stripe just on the hood right now?

BTW I think the hood and shaker look good. And it looks like the Agent 47 lower grill is on as well.

Yes, the stripe is just on the hood, like the 1970 Mach 1.

That's still the stock lower grille, but I had to adjust the brightness and contrast to see that.

The shaker did not come with a trim ring for the Foose hood. The shaker is also just sitting there for the photo and has not been bolted down and adjusted...this was a quick picture.

The color is done with Tungsten with blue pearl added to it so it is somewhat of a ghost stripe and shows more with direct sun or flourescent lighting.

The stripe is from the shaker equipped '70 Mach 1. The smudge is just dust and handling....better pics will come once it's finished.

Here's a better shot of the 1970 Mach 1's hood stripe.

Brad I like it alot, It was a very big step to do something that inventive in putting blue in the Tung. I think it looks sharp but I have a feeling it looks even better in person with the sun out.
NICE!!!!

The stripe layout it awesome. I don't think I've seen any '05s with the 1970 Mach 1 Shaker stripe. But none of us were very happy with the color of the stripe. We're going to try it again, but this time Tungsten + Black instead of Tungsten + Blue.

I like the 70's Mach stripe.
I think it needs to be more of a contrast.
With the Shaker, and a tungsten stang, I think it will look awesome in black.

Well I liked the blue in the Tungsten but the contrast is light, I can't wait to see the Tung and black together. Is it a metallic black or just using the the metallic of the Tungsten?

From bumper height it looks awesome! I agree the contrast will probably be a bit more appealing when you go with the Black. As always, you never do anything to this vehicle that isn't tasteful and without due praise.

What we are going to do is just add some black to the Tungsten Formula to darken it a hair....so it will be a dark version of Tungsten in the stripe....still going for the ghosted look so it will not be like a completely black stripe.
