This promises to become an interesting thread. Brad Barnett, the owner of The Mustang Source, bought this brand-new 2006 yesterday. Now he wants to prepare it as "The Mustang Source Project Car". Lost in translation: To see for the moment gibts except numerous congratulations and little schleichwerbung a not yet much. But I am sure that the information from this project will help us here.

Beautiful color, with the front by the SVT Shelby and a new exhaust system, like the Borla video posted here, I could like it, but as a coupe. Hopefully they will be imported so that I can buy a used one in a few years.

Brad is smart. (I swear that's what it says.) If one studies the current somewhat more exactly left, then the suspicion arises that it can be paid the whole change of sponsors: https://themustangsource.com/tungsten under Photos and Installs see one the past modifications. Similarly as the Germans 2005-er owner it converted also equal the rear lights. If also not completely like that as in Europe is usual: Under forum can one reread, what goes straight. It already received a package from Steeda. Therefore the following parts are inserted shortly:
- Sport Springs
- Control Arm Relocation Kit
- Underdrive Pulleys
- Lower Trailing Arms
- Adjustable Street 3-Link Trailing Arm Kit
- Strut Tower Brace
- Shifter
The wheels should be in next week. This Mustang will become "one of the most recognizable 2005+ Mustangs on the planet".
Moesi
Update: A name for the project car was found: Project Source Horse (derived from "The Mustang SOURCE"). For later comparisons, he shot a large number pictures. That might be the most comprehensive picture collection of a 2006 Convertible, which I had ever seen soon target to go loosely with the modifications.... Is anyone else actually interested in this project?

Hello Brad
Thank you for the translation
Yes, we are observing this very interesting project in Germany, Liechtenstein (me!), Switzerland, Austria, Holland, Tschechia and many other European countries!
In Europe, a Mustang is (still) a rare car.
Not easy to get some spare parts and troubleshooting tips here.
This is why we often use the internet to get all informations we need.
And for me, your site and the German www.dr-mustang.com forum are the most informative Mustang sites in internet.
greetings from Liechtenstein!
Stefan

Team Mustang Source
Pretty cool!
Welcome aboard Moesi and feel free to keep us updated on the Mustang scene in Europe. We have several members from all over Europe on the site.

Thanks for this nice welcome!
Yes , we have an active Mustang scene here.
Some nice pics you'll find at my Homepage in "Galerie" and "Meetings".
Sorry the page is in german language and still "under construction".
I started the page one year ago and then I had no more time for it...
But I think the pics will say it all ;-)
Best regards,
Stefan

That's great Stefan! When I get back to Germany I will already be able to track down some mustang enthusiasts!
I can't wait to get back to the Autobahn, I've been going through withdrawals for quite some time.
