My 05 & 06 needs these BAD!!!

 

These are the newer factory seat belt holders. Believe FoMoCo started putting them on the Stangs back in 2008? CalStang

Anyone have a part number or know what the part's actual name?

 

My '08 has 'em. Never noticed them before now.

 

Mine is an Oct 2007 build, MY2008 and it has them.

 

Is there a part number on it???

 

Not that I recall, but it could be on the other side. Cars at home though, so I cannot go out and check right now.

I've got that on my '08 and it is kind of a pain. It doesn't hold its position very well, and rotates out of the way when I do want it to maintain position.

 

i remember the SN95s having these but not that exact part..

 

These are only available in the 2008 + stangs. I contacted KC about them, when I saw them on the Bullitt back in 08. You need to get a whole new set of front seat belts in order to get those, they are attached to the assembly. KC said they run $250 for a new set. I have tried to get them from a wrecked 08+ stang but I have not had much luck. All the ones I've found were broken or the seat belt wouldn't recoil. It's an expensive piece of comfort. I still am looking for a cheep set...... Oh well someday!!!

They are Not getting any cheaper. Look for Drivers side to catch up Eventually.

You could get by with Just the drivers side! Heck with the Passenger! LOL!
