i don't know the oem color, but i would imagine it would be really easy to make it whatever color you wanted. that way, you can match it to what color light you are running on your dash (if you wanted to). just gotta remove the LED strip that it comes with and replace it with something like this. http://cgi.ebay.com/Flexible-White-B...QQcmdZViewItem

actually, if you think about it, it wouldn't be too hard to make your own.

Anyone get these door sills yet? I am pretty close to pulling the trigger on them myself. Are they even available?

How about these? I have not seen the sills that have 'Mustang' on them yet, though.

Cheers

Question

Thanks for pics jim010. I can't believe no one has the Mustang logo? I see some have a single color light (red) and others two color (red/blue). Anyone know what color the Mustang logo is?

Thanks

Since the mustang version is in the 2010 mustang you could say it's probably the first 2010 part that we didn't see.

I think you're right. I figured he was talking about the lettering being white while unlit

well, you could just remove the LEDs from there and replace it with something like this. that way you can match it your your my-color lighting.

http://cgi.ebay.com/1SET-12V-5050-SMD-LED-GRB-FLASH-30CM-STRIP-CONTROL-DIY_W0QQitemZ170272071514QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item1 70272071514&_trkparms=72%3A1423|39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3 A12|240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

just a thought. would be kind of cool though.

Hey LI, did you happen to take some shots of the install? Just curious how easy it is. Also, did you happen to see ir the bulb can be changed out to a different color? Thanks for the info.

I didn't take any pics of the install.

The install is really easy, You just splice two wires to the wires on the passenger side and run the one wire to the other side of the car. The bulbs are already attached to the wires and they just plug into the door sills. The lettering is actually a white material, so I don't know how it would look with other colors. It took only 20 minutes to complete.
