I bought these from a local Ford dealer. They came with the masking already on the black parts. I assumed Ford does this before they go to paint.
I am having a local guy paint them and do extra clear coating on my Redfire GT convertible.

Well, a year after having some dumba$$ rear end my car, and wanting to get the GT/CS rear bumper, but didn't have the time to wait for it (would have been over 2 weeks, and I had a show to do in 7 days), I finally ordered the rear bumper. Going to take my car up to where my brother is an insurance adjuster. His painter at the shop is TOP NOTCH. He goes nuts till he gets the color right (this is what I like to hear in a painter). Will look much better than the paint job on the bumper now (the painter did a rush job on my new GT bumper and did the stripes OFF the car. Needless to say, they are a tad crooked!! ). Now the painter tells me, I'm too picky and no one wants to work on my car!! WTF!!! I have taken my car to over 100 shows in 2 years, and his name is on my mod sheet!! So he is getting FREE advertising from me. Not anymore!! Going to put the new guy on the sheet come spring car show season!! Can't wait to see how it looks when its done!!!

Yes, good question indeed... I'm getting a GT/CS rear fascia in April to replace my stock GT one. What all is needed in order to have all the parts needed to install? Would hate to be held up by not having everything when it goes to paint... speaking of paint, who knows a great paint shop in Dallas?

Thanks,
-danny

For The bumper Itself if you are Reusing Brackets From the Original Bumper these are the Ford Parts I used to Sell with my Kits.

1 qty YL8Z-16k262-HC Center Bumper Clip. V6 does Not have One Originally. You Can Drill Hole If Needed After Bumper is Installed.
8 qty W712930s437 Rivets
Optionally you Can Get the Gt-500 Mudflaps if desired.
1 Qty 7r3z-16a550-aa & 1 Qty 7r3z-16a550-ab

This Will Take care of the Bumper Itself.

Now if you Need to Convert to Dual Exhaust there are Aftermarket Kits out there to Address That. If you Do go Aftermarket Make Sure they Come With the OE Style Brackets.

Duals can Also Be Added Using All Factory Gt Components & Fabricating an H-pipe.

Thank you! I have the dual exhaust conversion already (pypes x-pipe + stingers) so Im got that taken care of. Can you give me an estimate of how much these other parts would cost (including the mud flaps)? Would it be cheaper to get this stuff from my dealer or can I go ahead and order through you?

These are Not Expensive Items. It would Be a wash as Far as Getting from me or Local. Sales Tax vs Shipping. It should Be Under $ 45.00 Even if your Dealer Gets Creative with Pricing. I am Posting From Home or I would give a Better Price Guess.

I just got a slightly damaged CS front bumper. The repairs are minor, but it is a bare bumper with no additional parts. What do I need to mount this to my 05 GT?

Thanks for the help!

P.S.
I sent you an email as well. I just saw you had been out sick. Take your time, I have alot of prep work to do before I can get it painted and put on the car.

The Gt-500 is Far More Forgiving than Say a Roush Kit with the Protruding Chin. You Will be a Bit more Likely to Scrape the Chin Spoiler on the 500 Kit vs the Standard Gt but it should not be a Big Deal. I would Guess Some of the Guys in the Conversion Topic have Lowered Their Cars. Might want to Go through that Topic.

Kevin, I have the GT/CS & Shelby rear bumper now too and I'll post you up some new pic's of the car sometime this weekend here for you. On the scraping question, the GT500 wind splitter sits pretty low on my car and I'm running 20's with an Eibach pro kit and I don't have too many issues with it scraping. You just have to remember to cut driveways and anything else you think may have too much of an angle for you to go up with out scraping and you should be fine.
