EBAY!!!

I got mine from someone for $50 shipped, which is much less than retail.

EDIT: well, it seems like the prices have gone up again. (They were high, then fell low due to more supply than demand a couple of months ago, and now are back up again).

You can also try Steeda. I believe that they still sell them. Also, they provide a factory part number, which you can use to find more vendors.

Have you decided where you're going to put it yet?

Not certain as yet ? How about in the front grill portion of the fake scoop lol . Need to talk or e-mail Steeda as anything but UPS Crooks as they seem to charge thier own brokerage fee as they see fit.
I wonder why it is that Ford would have discontinued this item ? I am wondering some security issue maybe ?

My local dealer told me that a big reason was due to the fact that you must take off the whole unit to replace the battery, because the back cover must come off to get to the battery. And, according to him, they only lasted a couple of years. And, I think he said that people were scratching their cars trying to take off the unit

Sounds legit, yet BS at the same time. My key fob batteries last MANY years. And, taking off that unit is no different than taking off an emblem.

But, whatever. I'm happy with mine, and know what and how to replace the battery correctly if I ever need to. Besides, I hardly use it, so I'm sure the battery will last a long while.
