HI folks, This is my first post or so, but I have been lurking for about a year. I have a 2007 grabber orange GT and have been thinking about the 500 conversion until I heard some talk on the KR hood and such.
Does anyone know much about teh KR parts? Would a conversion be as simple as a 500? Front/rear facia and hood, or would it be more extensive--Any thoughts, comments, input?

 

isnt the only dif the hood...i was thinking just do the gt500 front end and figure out how too get the hood

 

Go to ShelbyPerformanceParts.com and download the catalog. You will see the the front fascia is the exact same except for the lower grill. You will be able to order the lower grill and the Super Snake hood which is basically the same as the KR hood later this year. I am hoping sometime this summer. I believe you can already get the lower grill though. The catalog also shows the KR or Super Snake rims to complete your conversion.
