To be on the safe side, I wouldn't go with anything smaller than a 9" wide rim on 275's. The 255's should take anyting in the 8"-9.5" range.
What size are these fanblade wheels, 18x8 or 18x8.5?
Wow - I'm seriously considering changing my order now to the standard wheel. The fanblades and 255/45-18 BFG g-Force KDW's would look sweeeet!! Check out the tread pattern...

Kev, any chance you could mount them on a car with 255's??
Would be good for business and satisfy our curiousity.

There is some conflicting opinions here. Would 275s fit this rim? I am no wheel and tire expert.

255's might be the limit for the 8.5 width.Guess I'll have to get some summer rims/tires to get the 255or275(undecided)Front/285Rear combo. What would be best with this? 18X9 front with 18X10 rear?
I'd love if somebody came out with the FULLY polished Fanblades with a 9inch width.

Another good source is the tire size calculator on 1010tires.com. It gives you a lot of comparison data between different tire sizes.

Don't change your order, would you consider trading for the original wheels?

Good one.

Let me tell you, being on this forum has brought upon so much indecisiveness. I've changed my order 3 times already and am contemplating doing it again. It originally started an '05 Windveil Blue (spoiler delete), then added the spoiler back on, then changed to '06 Tungsten with 64E (though it was fanblades at the time), now contemplating Black with the 64E actual wheels. I could've had the darn car already if I kept it as an '05.
Well at least I can say I am a better informed buyer now

if you have to ask you can't afford them
if you have to ask you can't afford them

I went to my dealer and had them look up the price. I was quoted $315.00 each, with no lugnuts or center cap. Yikes! Guess you have to pay a premium if you want the latest and greatest.

I checked a couple of tires at TireRack and haven't found any 275s for 8.5 width rims. All of the 275s I've found so far require a 9 inch width.
