Good to hear they are at least 8.5" wide, I didn't know this info 'till now.

What's the max tire size for the rim?

Looks like Ford is putting 235/50s on there... I'm sure 255s would be fine... can 275s fit on there since they're 8.5 inches? or is that too much?

The Cobra's Are Going to Run a GoodYear Eagle f1 Supercar tire. 255/45 Front 285/40 Rear as Per Car & Driver Magazine. But that is on a 18 x 9.5 in Rim.

I like the fan blades. The 18" wheels look much better than the stock 17"s to me.

But why can't you post prices? Is it a secret?

To be on the safe side, I wouldn't go with anything smaller than a 9" wide rim on 275's. The 255's should take anyting in the 8"-9.5" range.

What size are these fanblade wheels, 18x8 or 18x8.5?

Wow - I'm seriously considering changing my order now to the standard wheel. The fanblades and 255/45-18 BFG g-Force KDW's would look sweeeet!! Check out the tread pattern...

Thanks! I missed the obvious. Didn't see the title because I used a link from another thread. I was awed by the pics when I first opened the link.

these fan blades are like jekyl and hyde. In one picture (the ford press release) its horrifically ugly. In real life pictures (such as in this thread) they look very nice.

I'm thinking about ordering the 18" bullits now since they are the first available, but they have no DISH

According to the Online Ford Parts Catalog which was updated Today with Pics. The 18x8.5 Polished Bullit is not Scheduled to Be Used in Production until October! The Wheel is Not Priced and Has no Stock as of Date. The 18x8.5 Fanblade is Scheduled to be Used as of Job 1 Aug 05. This is what Ford Parts Cataloging Says. I realize this Conflicts with other info But I have Fanblades! I hate to Stir Things up but This is my Info. There is still two weeks until Release so things can still change. Ford has many Divisions Sales, Parts & Service, Media Etc.They do not always communicate well. It is Unfortunate there is Confusion on what wheels will be Released first. When I opened the Box on The Fanblade I thought I had ordered a Bullit due to all the information confusion but I got a Fanblade! I know one thing for sure. We are Still not Sure!
