My Little Darling Kitten Allie. I Found Her Crossing The Front Yard By The Highway Struggling To Get Somewhere. About a Year Ago. She Was so Young I Had To Bottle Feed Her Every 3 Hours With Kitten Formula. She Had Some Crusty Eyes But We Treated Them and They Cleared Up. We Noticed Right Out of The Gate She Always Had Poor Vision & Was Always Small for Her Age. Had Secondary Eye Lid Issues As Well. Cat Moms Will At Times Cut Loose Kittens That are Sickly.
I'm So Thankful I Just Happened To Be in the Right Place at The Right Time. She Would Have Likely Not Made it Had I Not Got Her. That is Even More Evident as of Last Night. I Usually Get Up At 3:30 and Check The House and All The Cats and They Get a Middle of The Night Treat. Well I Was Short One Kitten and Found Her Confused in a Cat Tube Toy. I Put Treats Right in Front of Her and She Kept Walking.
I Decided To Stay Up And See If She Was ILL To The Best of My Abilities and My Gut Told Me She Had Gone Blind Since Yesterday. Our Cats are Like Our Children and When I Say I'm Devastated That is an Understatement! Just Breaks My Heart!
I Have To Try & See If it is Reversable. I Have Been Checking Online Today and Though Rare, I Must Try She Has Been Very Brave Today & is Getting Around And Climbs Just a Bit as She Has The House Memorized So We Are Being Careful If Moving Anything. The Wife is Still Recovering From Her Back Surgery So My Plate is Full!
I have to Try & Find a Vet That Can Even Diagnose & Treat This. I Guess I Will be Making Some Calls Tommorow. Well I Just Wanted To Vent & Share That. I Might Be a Bit Absent For Awhile & Also A Bit Out There as The Hits Just Keep a Coming and I'm Just on My Last Breath!

Allie Formally Sylvia When I Found Her Shortly After Finding Her Jun 14 2025 Sept 6 2025 Today1 Today May 11 2026 Her Secondary Eyelids Are Sometimes Like This and Sometimes Fully Open. I Have Tested Her Six Ways To Sunday! Now She Lives in Darkness!
