Just high flow cats

Does anyone know of good high flow cats to buy? I am talking JUST the cats. My offroad Xpipe sounds amazing but is going to get me in trouble around here with the police. Instead of totally replacing it, or splicing the factory cats in, I was thinking have a good shop weld highflows onto the offroad x, atleast that way if I get stopped for noise I have cats.

Have you been stopped for noise before? Does your state have inspections?

Have not been stopped, but I also just bought the car and only drove it once, already got stared down. I am getting the stock cats from the previous owner so I was considering cutting those and using the x-pipe. Doing this would require the car to be retuned so I want to price out what adding high flows would cost. Gutting the cats would give the appearance but still be a loud attention getter.

FYI, I live in a valley, and my favorite driving roads are also in valleys which means a loud car echos and seems even louder.

Overall goal is to quiet the car a little, without losing too much power, and be legal with cats on the car if I am stopped.

I've got Pypes on mine. Have the rear O2 bungs in them in case I want to add the rear O2's back in. We have emissions here but they are going to drive by so I hope mine with the long tubes and hi flow cats will pass the sniffer.

FYI changing the stock midpipe with or without cats, does not require retuning your car. The reason I know this, is because I recently swapped out my stock midpipe, and installed a MAC prochamber with high-flow cats.

Having your car re-tuned, is only required when upgrading to long tube headers. As both Doug from Bamachips, and Brent from Brenspeed, can e-mail you updated tunes for long tube headers at anytime !
