I'm interseted in:

1) guages - love them. I'm betting they plug right in.

2) illuminated door sill - love that they light up in the same colors as the ambient lighting, vs the Ford Racing ones that just light up in white.

3) door handles - I want chrome, but nothing fancy like the aftermarket ones.

Cheers

I love the wheel too, but how in the world would you get those wheel controls to work on an aftermarket deck?

I don't know if they have one for the late model Fords, but I used this on my 2000 Explorer Limited to control my JVC deck.

The chrome door handles will certainly be a direct swap. I like the look of the chrome and I will certainly be changing a few pieces here and there to reflect that.

I do hold hope that the new automatic shift **** will slide on, that is if they kept the original shifter lever the **** installs on. Looking at the spy pics of the automatic interior it still looks square at the shifter lever where it comes out the bezel. I can't tell if that is a new PRND321 indicator bezel from the pictures or not. It does look like it has a nice chrome ring around it.

The e-brake lever should fit... I like that it looks lower profile and less obtrusive with a proper boot installed. I just wish the new console fit without having to fit a complete new dashboard to go along with it. We will just have to live with the rubbermaid storage bin and cupholders.

If there is a standard wheel without redundant controls it should fit. I was thinking that maybe the spoke inserts may fit the old wheel but it appears that the ends where they install and wrap onto the rim may be wider and not sit flush if installed.

Another hope is that the new round door speaker covers will fit. I hate the garbage can lids on the 05-09. I always thought they would look better smooth without the ridges.

If you're talking about the interior door handles, the 2008 Taurus pieces are a direct replacement for the 05-09 Mustang and they're chrome too.

8G1Z-5422601-A - Right

No need to wait for the 2010 pieces to become available

KC - I'd be interested to find out if the flasher unit is compatible with the 05-09. If it's plug & play, it would make swapping to LED bulbs a whole lot simpler than adding a load-resistor to every bulb!

Most Ford preproduction cars have "black" engine compartments as they are hand built. I believe this may have been mentioned in another thread.

I have these, and they are a direct (and very easy) swap! Thanks to KC for providing them
