Hey bud, the only way to do it, is to either sign onto Blueovalnews.com, and go into the X-Plan forums, as there are LOTS of Ford employess there. There are a few here that may be able to help you. By any chance you don't work for any large company do you? The list for X-Plan partners is HUGE!!!

Bumping for info, not necessarily a PIN.

Can just anybody apply for an X-plan PIN? I don't see myself falling under any of the X-plan partners listed on that site, but I heard (or thought I heard) that if you own Ford stock, you can qualify? If so, is there a minimum number of shares you are required to own to qualify for the X-plan? Or could it be as simple as calling a buddy at a Ford dealership and getting him/her to use their PIN's for their discounts? I have a salesman and a sales manager in my pocket so to speak, but I don't want to go in there right off the bat with "I'm gonna use the x-plan pricing"... Or I guess it doesn't even matter? Can you still haggle on price if you're trying to use X-plan pricing?

Sorry for so many questions, just trying to get all my ducks in a row so I can go down there and order the new 5.0....

You can also request a PIN from Ford employees at Blue Oval Forums.

There is some further information in that regard:

If you are not going to use your PIN, please contact the person who issued it so that it can be canceled. If you fail to use or cancel an X-Plain PIN, you will not be issued a new one to your social security number.

2) Please open a new topic for each P.I.N. request. P.I.N. requests are for retail customers only! Dealers and wholesalers are PROHIBITED from requesting an X-Plan P.I.N.

3) It is strictly against Ford Motor Company policy for anyone to charge for an X-Plan PIN. All X-Plan PINS are provided free of charge.

4) Please post what kind of vehicle the P.I.N. is for. Dealers often visit the boards and may be able to assist you.

4) Please make sure your PM and E-mail functions are turned on. Most P.I.N. request responses are made via PM or E-mail. The operation of these functions can be found under "My Controls" toward the top of each forum page, to the right of where you login.

5) BEFORE a P.I.N. request can be fulfilled, you may be required to supply the following information: Your name, address, e-mail address and the last four digits of your social security number. IMPORTANT - Do not post your personal information on these forums. Only supply the last four (4) digits of your social security number. As always, be careful who you share your personal information with.

6) We'd love to hear from you! Please come back and post of picture of your new vehicle and share your experience with us. smile.gif

PIN Types

A-Plan PIN
Provides the best price on any of the Ford family of brands to eligible employee family members, including grandparents of both the employee and the spouse

Z-Plan PIN
Is identical of the A-PLAN, but provides the best price on any of the Ford family of brands to eligible retired employee family members instead of active employees.

X-Plan PIN
Extends discount pricing to friends and neighbors of employees as well as Ford supplies and other business partners (through the Partnership Recognition Program). Businesses are eligible for the X-Plan by contacting AZX Plan Program Headquarters and providing an X-Plan PIN for a vehicle titled in the company's name.

D-Plan PIN
Applies to dealer employees and their family members.

Did you know?
If each employee helped to sell just one vehicle per year, Ford would sell an additional 350,000 units and Ford's market share would increase by two points!

Hi, maybe someone here can help me. The 2011 Mustang a not listed on www.fordpartner.com when I want to generate a PIN.

This is what I did:
I went to www.fordpartner.com
Entered my PARNTER CODE
Clicked on Generate My PIN
Clicked on Generate a PIN for me
It then has a section "Enter Your Personal Information" and under that "Enter Your Vehicle Preferences"
In this section there is no selection for 2011 Mustang, only 2010.
Will it still work if I select 2010?

Thanks for any help.

Tony

Tony, they haven't updated the X-Plan vehicle site yet, because there are no 2011s out yet. Once they start producing them, all 2011s will be allowed with the exception of the Raptor, GT500, Harley Davidson F150, and Chassis Cab Super Duty trucks.

I have a stupid X-Plan question.

When you buy a vehicle on the X-Plan, is there a single, fixed X-Plan price, or is it a specific percentage off of whatever the selling price is? In other words, is it possible to end up paying more by utilizing the X-Plan if the car you're buying is discounted already? Or is it a sliding scale?
