Tata to Sell Jaguar?

A potentially ironic turn of events since the union's backing of Tata as their 'bidder of choice' was a large part of the reason why the Indian firm got the nod in the first place. If this proves true anybody want to wager what the odds are that Jaguar will end up in the hands of a Chinese firm?

Pretty high chances. This could be another reason the deal is taking so long, as the unions and/or Ford knows this and is trying to extract some sort of guarantee.

Cheryguar...? I don't even want to think about it.

Jaguar would be better off going out behind a barn and shooting itself.

As long as Ford get's rid of Jaguar, I don't care where it will end up.

It was bad enough that Jag was going to India. The thought of China acquiring it?

This could be really sad. I like Jags and a couple of the most very recent products are really nice. I don't want to see it die.

We are about 50 years behind the British headed down the same road. In 50 years there won't be much left of the US auto industry.
