I see a bigger grill on there... the headlights look better, but they may be sticking out too much... cant wait to see it!

 

That doesn't look that much different than the current model. I was hoping for a more evolved design. Still, I'll reserve judgement until I see the production version.

 

Looks like elements of the Mazda 3 - tail lights, and maybe a bit of RX-8 influence on the headlights used for this upcoming version. All in all, not a bad direction to take. Hopefully, it will help steal sales from the Camry which looks like it stole its front end from Mazda.

And, although it's likely to never happen, Would a 3.5 powered RX8 be worthy to fight the 350Z?

 

no, becuase you can't call it RX if it's using a V6. That would be like Dodge calling engines without hemispherical combustion chambers "Hemis".....oh wait.

Bear in mind this is a mule, the current-gen elements will probably be far fewer than on this.
