it seems to me that all the experts (as in guys that drive and write about cars all day) are pretty impressed with the fusion so far. I think of this car as sort of a turning point for ford. that turning point should have happened with the 500 i guess, but they forgot to put a cool grill on it. I think it seems like we've got a smarter company now, these guys really seem to have their heads straightened a bit. They're realizing that cars are really important, and they've also stacked up a crazy all-star design team. Good investments for the future. People will buy fords if they look cool. I think good looks are probably the most important aspect of a car to make good sales. Sure you gotta back it up with other goods, but we're a really superficial society and looks matter a lot. I think these guys should start cracking out some good looking cars. I guess the next thing we'll see is probably the edge and aviator sportwagons. Can't wait to see how these next cars look.

I hope we're not all calling it too early, but i say ford did a great job on the fusion and i hope we see some good sales.

 

i read the article in road and track and carndriver. i was already impressed, but that pic of the red one.. oh man
