Pantera, Exotic or Muscle car ?
I got in to a conversation with a friend and he couldn't decide if the Pantera is an Exotic or a Muscle car , so what do you all thing ?
(I said it's a muscle car with style)

Certainly more than just a simple muscle car (it can actually handle and brake well, which pretty much disqualifies it from being a muscle car right there.)
I would call it a European/American hybrid exotic, being basically an Italian car but with a strong American V8. Interesting how well these cross-pond hybrids work, whether from a WWII P-51 Mustang (Brit motor in an American plane) to the Shelby Cobras (American motor in a Brit car) to the GT40 (kind of the same) to the Pantera.
Would be interesting were Ford to stick the new 5.0 in some lithe little Euro sports car chassis.

They actually did,(well not a new one) the Mangusta, and Tigers both had Ford small blocks and even now adays the 4.6 has found it's way in to various exotics and high ends sport cars so I'm sure the new 5.0 well find it's way soon

True, though I'd love to see Ford do that again in some sort of conceptually neo-Pantera to serve as a reasonably affordable sports car to go up against the Corvette. The Ford GT (40) was an incredible car, but also well out of the price range of any reasonable working-man's aspirations.
