I love the lightning bolt myself but no one would pay 50k for a ranger I think the sema spec was definately a stand out and definitely affordable.They added all those parts on other models in some form or fashion over the last few years but never all together. They just got to timid and axed the good stuff.

 

I don't remember that Ranger but it would have been a lot of fun!!!

 

It was by far the coolest concept from the articles I have seen it was never meant to be produced it was more of a SVT wanted to see if they could do it. So they grabbed stuff they already had like the lightning powertrain and shoved it in. It was heavily modified fully boxed frame to handle the torque and the firewall had to be moved back along with pretty much everything under the hood was redesigned. It would have been way to expensive for a truck whose base price was sub 20k.

 

I have 2 trucks (F150 and F250)and the F150 is a daily driver.

I have an '06 Nissan Frontier that is my daily driver with 94000 miles on it. My '13 GT only comes out to play when the weather is good. Having both makes life so much easier. I also have a '01 CBR 929RR, that comes out to play once in awhile too.....

I put 198K on a 93 Ranger, 217K on a 98.

T've ownd a lot of pickups over the years but this one is the best.
I traded in a daily driver GMC 2500 with the Duramax diesel. Got tired of it breaking down so I went back to Ford(never should of left) and I been happy since.
