Came across this in my Hagerty news letter from Larry Webster and thought it was worth sharing. One tie in is that it has a Coyote 5.0L engine and sounds like many Coyote Mustangs. Hope you like it. Leave your thoughts and comments.

 

Funny it Does Not Sound Like The 5.0s That Often Drive Past My Country Home on The Hard Pedal. I Actually Like The Sound of This Faux Cobra. Must Be The Side Pipes! Never Could get Used to RHD Version. Been Shifting Too Many Years on The Other Side. Ideally I Prefer a Pushrod V8 To The New Stuff But **** I Would Not Mind Driving This Rig With Lhd.

When My Son was Being Treated For His Leukemia we Often Spoke of Doing a Factory Five Version of The Cobra When He Recovered But That was Not to be!

Sound a bit like mine, but I do have a Roush exhaust in combination with the Boss side pipes.

I agree with the RHD. I just looks weird, and is even weirder to drive them. Spent a couple weeks driving in New Zealand in 2017. Took a while to get it right. Then was messed up when I got home...

 

Actually had an S-550 Under Load with Loud Exhaust Blow By The House a Few Minutes ago & Do Believe The Cobra Sounds Better. I Bet The Roush & Sidepipes Do Sound Sweet on Yours!

Awesome find, Steve... Despite the Cobra having RHD... I would still enjoy being the proud owner, nevertheless... Could also just imagine how many cars this Cobra could smoke with a Coyote 5.0 engine under the hood in addition to having a significant weight advantage as well...
