Personally, I wouldn't have traded the Ford GT for ANY Shelby, but that's just me.

Either way, sounds like he has a gorgeous stable.

I'm with ya on that one.

I love the Shelby GT350/500s of old... but the Ford GT is just sex+1 on wheels...

I'd clone/not badge a GT500 just for the looks, but not pass it off as one,
and keep the GT

I'm with you guys on this one. When I heard he sold The Ford GT, I was extremely dissapointed. Driving that car through South Beach were some of the greatest nights of my life. (When you get a thumbs up from a guy in a Gallardo, you know you are doing something right.)

Here are some pictures of the 68 Shelby he took at the dealer.

i would easily trade a Ford GT for an 08 super snake, sure it has no warranty but still...725 hp!

you are crazy. the ford gt puts out 600hp (550hp rating) and you could easly add the same mods to a ford GT and ahve a 725hp Ford GT which is a ton lighter then a Super Snake.

Oh yeah. GT would devastate a Super Snake in any contest you care to name: handling, straight line acceleration, chassis dynamics, resale value, admiring glances from the public... anything.

It's not even worth comparing.

I guess I'm with everyone else. I would have kept the GT. The only thing I'd trade the GT for of Shelby's is an original Daytona Coupe

Love the 67 GT though...

Good God I know exactly how you feel... No one really knows about the Daytona's, not nearly to the extent of the Cobra's at least.

Your uncle should get one of those!
