Never understood why Ford decided to concentrate its efforts in Lincoln rather than Mercury. So long, Mercury. You will be missed, despite what some might say.

Thankfully we are Ford Lincoln Mercury. It should help us to survive.

I sent an email to my buddy Steve Davis the President of Barrett Jackson and Suggested they get the Last Mercury off the Line an Auction it off. Let's see if he takes my Idea and runs with it. It could happen. They could invite some Classic Mercurys in for the auction and make an event out of it.

As I stated on the other Merc topic, I prefer Mercury over Ford, but I understand why the brand is leaving.
I just hope that we do see the added focus on both the Ford & Lincoln brands.

Had three in my 62 years. My first "real car" was a 53 Merc. Our 91 Cougar was the worst car I had quality wise and our current 07 Milan is the best.

It's a shame, but I'm sure the new Lincoln offerings will make up for the loss.

Sad to see them go. I'm sure Lincoln will expand some, but in my 'opinion' Mercury should have been dropped 7 or 8 years ago, right after the 'New Cougar' failed and got discontinued
