Mazda CX-9
same here.
I just saw some adds on the train today for the CX-9, I was surprised it's already out. The adds had 7 people in a bobsled and then seven people going off a ski jump together.
I'm not sure how I feel about the 9 and the 7 being so similar. I heard they were actually designed by two separate groups who weren't really aware of what each other were doing. I'm totally down with family resemblance and everything, but I have a seriously hard time telling the difference between these two, at least in pictures.

Good to see clear design differentials between the Mazda and Ford so it widens the market a bit. Still looks a bit like generic Japanese 101 on the styling though, actually looks like old lexus/current Toyota more then Mazda. The CX-7 is hot.
TomServo92 is correct, the Murano is not at all like the FX-35.
The Murano is built on Nissan's FWD platform (Maxima) and adapted to RWD.
The FX-35 is built on the Infiniti FM, RWD platform and adapeted to AWD.
They are very different animals.
I'll add in my Murano review.
I could live with the MKX's lack of luxury amenities (Keyless entry-ignition, rear view camera, etc.) if the MKX was fun to drive.
The reason why I ranked the MKX so low (and the Edge higher than the MKX) is because the MKX is not any fun to drive. The MKX's steering is horrible, way over boosted, next to zero road feel and has a wierd on center notch. It floats all over the road and does not inspire any conficence when driving it. On top of that add in the mushy brake pedal and the MKX has absolutely no sporting feel what so ever. IMHO the Lincoln mistakenly used the RX-350 as a model of how to make the MKX's vehicle dynamics as bad as possible.
I have updated my CUV reviews to add in the Murano and add some other comments to the Edge & MKX.
In case you still care, Tom, I drove a CX-9, Touring model, AWD, 18" wheels.
The short report is that in terms of vehicle dymamics, ride, handling, steering, road feel, acceleration, brakes, solid feel, quietness, etc. I rank it as the best of the FWD based CUV's but still behind the RWD based FX-35 and SRX. Build quality is excellent, interior is attractive, Driver's seat is very comfortable with more leg room than I need. Optional Bose audio sounds great, better than the Lincoln THX. AWD system works very well, no torque steer nor any sensation of power moving around,
The downside of the CX-9 is that Mazda has somewhat missed what the market demands - heated seats are binary, only on-off, Outside mirrors don't operate with the seat memory, Passenger's seat is only 4X adjustble, it does not have any trip computer, i.e. no miles to empty, no MPG, etc., center console is tiny (Edge & MKX is huge), manual tilt / telescope wheel, pedals are not adjustible, 2nd row seats have very low cushions (similar to the Edge & MKX) so tall people who sit in the back will have their knees in their chins, It's big and heavy, 200" long, 4500 lb in AWD form.
Here is my current ranking.
#1. FX-35
#2. SRX V6
#3. CX-9
#4. MDX
#5. Edge
#6. Murano
#7. MKX
#8. RX-350

If you want any more details, I'll provide them. CX-9s have now arrived in mass, so there should be one at your local Mazda dealer right now.
The first boat load of CX-9s (what's on dealer lots today), were only Sport and Touring models and none of them have any of the fancy options like the NAV system, keyless entry etc. A ship loaded with the next batch of CX-9s supposedly docked in San Diego last weekend. This new shipment has Grand Touring models with all the options. These CX-9s should be arriving at dealers over the next 2 - 4 weeks.
