My dad and i went to the ford dealership down the street yesterday and we found an 04 F-150 Lariat everything looked good 14K miles but we were just wondering if any new F-150 owners had any problems with thiers
we have had 2 F-series trucks before and they both were flawless
our 94' F-150 had over 200K miles on it and still ran perfect with olny little stuff to replace
our 00' F-250 lariat diesel is the best truck my dad has owned but it is olny a standard cab truck and there are 5 of us in our family
so were looking for a crew cab truck that is nice and roomy
and dont reccomend any other truck than a ford!
because we have had some bad expirences with other types of trucks

I rode in a 05 F-150 XLT 4x4 and while it was beautiful, it only had a 4.6, and it must of taken at least an hour t get it to the fuel sht off number of 102mph. BUT, it was the best riding handling truck I had ever been in. So I would recommend a F-150 with a 5.4 or a Super Duty with a V-10 or PSD

I test droved '05 F-150 Supercab 4x4 with 4.6L few weeks ago. Other than the fact that it really needs more powerful engine, everything else was awesome.

My dad just bought an '04 with the 5.4L ... awesome truck. Tons of torque on tap, you just put the pedal down and you get up and go, no drama, no winding ... you just go. Fantastic ride. I find the cloth seats a bit hard and not the most comfortable, so I'd look for leather, personally.

I just bought an 04 F150 XLT super cab 4x4 with 40K miles on it. It rides as smooth as the new Raptors but at a fraction of the cost. Getting over 20 mpg with the 5.4 too. I like it more than the 2002 FX4 I had.

My Dad bought an 04 F150 XLT with the 5.4 last year. Best truck we've had yet!
