Lincoln's Big Boy: MKT
ya, I'm usually not very critical of what comes out from Ford, the past couple years I've approved of just about everything they've made, but this is one vehicle that I just don't see faring very well in the market. The design is questionable, some people might get it, but I fear a lot of people won't find it very attractive. And on top of that, this market segment can't be going anywhere very fast. I mean, the Flex is an excellent vehicle in many respects and it's got a very interesting, good looking design that stands out just as much as this thing does without being ugly in my opinion, and yet sales have been below expectations. People are thinking twice about buying vehicles this size, and I just don't think the MKT brings anything to the table to make people think otherwise.
Anyway, good luck, but I don't have high hopes for this thing. Maybe I'll change my opinion when I see it in person, but so far this thing looks bloated and awkward.

The majority of the vehicle is nice, it's just that front fascia...yikes.
I'm Sorry It just looks Demented in this picture. This thing is HORRIBLE! It Kills Me to say this, Lincoln was Once a Great Car, now it's a Bad Joke! At this point I couldn't care less if Ford let Lincoln Die Off, cause in my opinion, they're killing it with this kind of miss-guided, lame duck, disaster.
It is not my favorite vehicle in the World, but I don't hate it either. I wonder what the target is for sales projections. Maybe this will be positioned as a replacement for the Navigator? Which may be a very start move.
