anyhoo, i think that looks great beats my friends '99 land rover into the dust

 

coooool... any info? is it based off an LR3 platform or something. are have they still been making defenders for a while now? i guess it looks a lot shorter than an LR3

 

personally, i dont like it... but it doesn't matter what I think, because I believe that Land Rovers should stay at what they do best... Drive around in safaris, not neighborhoods.

Is that picture supposed to show me that it is retro, or that they used to look different? Honestly, I really think the Defender's have always looked the same. Kind of similar to the Jeep Wrangler (not in looks, even though they kinda are, I mean in differentation between generations), they are all different but at the same time, they are all the same (don't have a cow CJ guys).

Land rover defenders have been pretty much unchanged for 50 years. And even now, you will be hard pushed to find ANY production car that can beat them off road. I have been to meets where the wranglers or cherokees have to be pulled off the course by, you've guessed it, a landy!

 

it's a big box...maybe good for off roading, but thats it. i wouldn't drive it on the streets, to ugly...I would rather have a new Range Rover SC

 

Zach, the range rover SC is over double the price though.....
