January sales

Overall, a pretty good month for Ford.

Sales were up by almost 25%, which is the highest.

Does anybody know the breakdown by model? Someone used to post it, but haven't seen it in a while. I am just enough of a dork to want to see it.

61% increase for Mustang over January 2009. From 2,944 to 4,747. That makes the Mustang a big reason for the overall sales figures going up. The only cars with higher year over year increases were Taurus (121%) and Crown Vic (91%). I guess cab companies and law enforcement are buying as many CVs as possible while they can.

Fleet sales drove this increase, as Ford's own press release admits. The (relatively) bad news is this:
Retail sales were 5 percent lower following December’s 18 percent increase

What's up with MKT? Only 715 of them were sold in January. Same with a Navigator, Lincoln sold only 726 of them.
