I can't believe I just found this photo

It means a lot to me. This is at the Charlotte Motor Speedway during their annual Charlotte Auto Fair held each April. I am on the left and the old friend in the middle bought the Ford neon sign ($200) being held by another friend. You can just see it at the bottom. Why does this mean something? When he passed away about 5 years ago his widow gave me the sign since I helped her sell the 1972 Mustang that he owned. Not only that but the friend holding the sign passed away very recently. I'm the last one left of our trio that really enjoyed attending these type events. A wonderful memory and now the neon sign hangs in my garage.

^^^ That was really nice!!!
Here was his 1972 Grande (also St Patty's day green) that I ended up selling for his widow. It had less than 30,000 original miles. 351C and many factory performance goodies according to the Marti. Unfortunately that Grande styling just would not bring the big $$$.

I Love The Stepchildren of The Popular Models. What a Fun Car with the 351C, Great Sleeper! Would Have Loved to Own that Car! Got a 70's Executive Vibe!

^^^ The interior was just mint! Even after all those years. If I had the garage space it would have been mine. I forgot what we got for it, but I'm thinking just $12k - $13k or so. Went to a guy from Maryland that made the effort to come get it.
