17th Annual Super Sunday Car Show - Sarasota, FL - November 16, 2008
Anybody going to this one?
I've never been to it before, but this year it's being held on St. Armands Circle in Sarasota. We used to go there all the time when we lived in Sarasota... Should be a nice setting with all the cars parked around the circle.
Only 150 pre-registered cars allowed, and they said at MOSI that they already had 90... so only 60 spots left... uh, only 58 spots left!

If there is any interest then I'll start a list!

Good News - Bad News.
First, the Good News: Going to be an Awesome venue. We're in the Shade!!!!!! Raised ALREADY $8,000. for the two Charities to split. And that is what this show is about!!!! Play to win, but be happy with the Venue and comradery. This show is like no-other. Where the Show Cars will be: NO vendors, NO Food, NO Loud Music. Shops do not open until Noon. So bring Drinks and snacks to hold you till then. The Show Car's will be Center Stage, in the Middle of the Circle, surrounded by the Shoppes. Fantastic Shopping, Eateries, and a Beach. Going to be a grat day.
Now the Bad news: I have 28 cars in my class!!! Bummer. But I'm going for the day, and can't wait!!!!!!

Pretty good, til the 66 Mustang rolled down the hill and into the 427 Cobra. Tom can elaborate, he was right there, I was accross the circle. Classic Car Insurance is a GOOD Thing!!!

Yep. a Steel Chromed Front Bumber vs Plastic (was rounded) rear quarter, was not a pretty site. The break went all the way around from the rear to the wheel well. It was a pretty metalic chromium color too. Wonder what the new colour will be. Never match that up again. Maybe two tone.............
