Help New clutch safety switch not working

Hi Just got this car needed to have the clutch safety switch replaced, I replaced it now it will not start. I noticed this plastic thing looks like some type of connector or ? Where does it go and is it the reason for a no start. It is attached to the safety switch wiring ..Thanks !!!

Post a picture of what you are seeing. the switch thinks the clutch is not pressed…. Could be it is not connected correctly, if at all, or it is defective. If i remember correctly it has a button like trigger that hits a plate when you push in the Clutch. That should close the circuit that allows the car to crank.

First crawl under there and pull the plunger on the switch out. If that doesnt work you "may" have a bad switch.
