Ford Fusion becomes best-selling domestic car

According to the article, 50% of sales are for loaded models: hybrid, sport, and SEL, which helps Ford's profit margin.

How you liking your car? My boss is in the market and he does like the Fusion, but he really wants AWD without a 30k pricetag. I've pretty much told him that the AWD desire pretty much gets you to that mark or **** close to it.

Mine is a fully loaded sport with the 402A package and Navigation. I've only had it for a week but so far so good. I chose the FWD option because you dont really need AWD where I live and I live less than a mile from work. If he wants AWD he is gonna have to pay for it
The only thing that I dont like so far is the 6 speed auto...it shifts too fast for me and I wish a manual was available for the sport. The 3.5 is a pretty peppy motor and it has a nice growl to it at idle. The sync and navigation unit are top notch, even better than the navigation system in my previous '05 Acura TL.
All in all its a great car and I got one hell of a deal on it (x-plan, rebate, super low financing rate)

I'm hoping future year's "Sport" will include either a 4 or 6 banger ecoboost, and a 6spd manual

-I'd have to put that in my driveay

are you listening, Ford?

The 4-cyl EB is coming. The 6-cyl EB might be coming. As for transmissions, read up on 6-speed dual-clutch.

It would be nice to have an AWD EcoBoost 4/6 Sport edition pushing 300+HP. If mitsu can do it with the EVO, why can't Ford?

In the near future, Fusion will be available with 2.0L EcoBoost (~230 hp, 240 lb ft torque).

They're nice cars. I was disappointed that they didn't have side airbags standard when they launched, but that's been fixed
