That would be a phenomenal competitor to the Civic Si

That iteration of the car should be in north america in the first place.

The closest we will ever come to that car (the total package anyway) is the S40. Ford could never sell that car as-is in the US. Noone would pay for it.

Mazda is supposed to be coming out with a Mazdaspeed 3. It's to get a detuned version of the Mazdaspeed 6 2.3L turbo making around 220HP. It'll be closest thing to the Focus ST we'll see in the US.

Thats the conversion of how much it cost in Europe. The price could be significantly different were it sold here.

Still too much. You can get brand new BMW 3-Series for almost same price.

What makes you say that? If the Focus had been designed in the US I could understand it, but it was designed in Europe and Ford Europe took the initial risk, and then the US market piggy backed on the success. I believe the iteration should be with the division that designed it......

JC tested this on TG Last SUnday. Looked pretty wild!

I took Steve to mean that we (North America) should also have the Euro Focus as our own. Especially since we have the other two iterations of the chassis, Mazda3 & S40.

But . . I could be wrong.
