It's the 3-door hatchback which currently has no plans to be sold in the US but they should.

Those are studio drawings with exaggerated proportions which are usually toned down for production models.

change the "coupe" to "hatch" along with the wheel availability for the NA market.

I believe Ford totally underestimates the potential for 2-door sales. Since so many 2-door cars have left the market in the past several years it's impossible to have a gauranteed demand for something that does not exist and buyers have been left with no choice as they are all force fed four door models because they do not want to take the risk with added production expense to create a potential 2-door hit. They have brainwashed buyers to believe they only want 4-door cars. However just about every Toyota Yaris I see is a 2-door and I see a lot of them. We know the Fiesta is better.

If they are gauging popularity of 2-door cars from the results of the outgoing two door Focus, it is a bomb simply because it did not have the looks and it had about as much appeal as an old 1981 Escort. The original Focus 2-door hatchback was discontinued because they simply did not want to spend the cost to retool it to meet crash standards.

I would love to be able to buy a used 4 or 5 year old "2 door" (3door hatch) Fiesta later on. As it stands now, it won't be happening.

For a while my better half's car was a Yaris hatchback.... About a year or so ago during the Charlotte International Auto Show they had the Fiesta drives so we took one for a spin. While the for me the Yaris was not totally a bad car for the money, the Fiesta put the Yaris to shame... I always hated the centered instrument cluster in the Yaris dash. I never could get used to it. If Ford had the Fiesta when we got the Yaris then the Fiesta would have been the car that we bought. We did want a Ford, but we hated the Focus. We intentionally bought such a small car for the economy and as a commuter vehicle which would sit frequently in the employee parking lot at the airport.

However just a couple of months ago we traded the Yaris in on a tuxedo black metallic clearcoat 2010 Fusion SE which we like very much. It came with the cloth interior and with my recent experience a while back putting the take-off 2010 leather seat covers in my 08 Mustang, We decided to order light stone leather seat covers with preforated inserts for the Fusion. I installed them no problems and it's like riding around in a Lincoln MKZ for a lot less money. Little Limo I like to call it!

One of our three cars is a 2007 Focus SES 3 door. My wife wanted something good on gas, and a little sporty. I believe that there is a market for 2 door cars. I don't know too many teens, young adults or older single people who want a 4 door. They want something sporty looking.
