Ah, NO! If you bring them here, they should be at Ford dealers, since there are ALOT more Ford dealers than there are Mercury dealers. Plus, this car is legendary in Australia, as a FORD, so you don't want to bring it here and change the name and brand it comes from.

 

Well you could always change the front to have cougar whiskers Just figuring on the low volume, they could redo the nose and call it the Marauder. Mercury has had NOTHING to bring attention to it in a long time. An off-the-wall experiment could get some excitement brewing. I would just bring the 5.4 version though with all the trimmings. Ford could get the pickup version as the new lightning

I want a car in the next year. Ford is dragging their feet with nothing exciting or even competitive in dealers.

Just to let you know, from all reports, the RWD Impala is still ON HOLD (and it looks like it may not happen) till GM gets things straight. All RWD applications except for the Camaro have been stopped till they can get the cost down.

Hey, I'm just repeating what Lutz said himself a few months ago. They just can't get the cash for the Impala right now. And about the cars driving around Detroit? There are Ford Falcons and FPV GT's driving around Detroit as well. Car & Driver did an article on these awhile ago.
