If it's a wrestler, I would've gone w/"Ultimate Warrior". =) The front headlight treatment brings the face of a peregrine falcon to mind - this car IS also a Falcon after all. Not too obvious, huh?

OK, it's official, Ford Australia makes cars that are about 10X as cool as anything Ford US makes in its soporific car line, with perhaps the exceptions the Mustang, which at least looks af bit cooler. I mean, what Ford US sedan even comes within a country mile of having the gotta have it factor that something like this does. The face is a bit different -- haven't made up my mind if a really like it -- but at least their pushing forwards, design-wise, rather than forever dredging up past glories, i.e., "retro," for stylistic inspirations.
To add flesh to the flash, the Aussie cars have bigger motors (bit this will have the N.A. DOHC 5.4 that Ford NA can't seem to bring themselves to put in the Stang GT), better brakes (than the fade-prone Stang GTs) and better suspension (contemporary IRS vs yestertech lively axle).
Perhaps Ford, taking a chapter from GMs current playbook, will wake up and bring over some of these Aussie gems, or at least some of the tech pieces (see above engine, brake and suspension).

From what I understand, the new Orion chassis WAS made with exporting purposes in mind!? Hopefully Derek Kuzak and Mullaly will get smart and bring this car over here! I'd drive a FPV GT IN A HEARTBEAT!!! Make mine Shockwave Blue with a 6-speed stick please.

Just who do we need to talk to over at Ford?? We should send e-mails and letters from the forum to show just how much this kind of Machine is wanted here!!! I would gladly share the garage with my Mustang and be very proud indeed!!!

I am not a fan of the headlight treatment. They remind me of Audi's 'blades' on the R8, and I don't like those either for the record. However, the rest of the car is okay if not mind-blowing, so if you can get these painted body color as an option, which seems likely, I'll get over it. I still don't think it wouyld do particularly well on our shores and I strongly suspect that LHD was implemented primarily for export to Middle Eastern markets.
