Got the first oil change last week. No issues and everything was in the green.

Soon!! reading up on whats good and bad.. you cant hear anything during WOT. I passed a coworker on the freeway and he said "that things to darn quiet".

How did it turn out?

 

Eh. The shop forgot to swap my mufflers, so now it's an O/R X with SLP LMIIs. It's loud. And raspy. And obnoxious. And loud. Bringing it back Monday to have the mufflers swapped, but most likely will go back to cats. Maybe if I had a power adder, I'd go catless, but I lost power - can definitely feel a loss of torque down low.

 

Just hit 5k miles with the focus st!! its fast and fun and im getting 24.4 mpg.

 

I wanna test drive one.

tires have about 9,000 more miles before they need replacing.

 

Love mine, man you do some driving. You got your way after I got mine and passed me mileage wise. I commute with this thing daily about 60 miles and couldn't happier. I traded a couple cars in to get this one and am glad I did. And yes, it feels about as fast as my '05GT was but gets far superior fuel mileage, handling, and braking. It doesn't attract as much law enforcement attention either.

 

I drive about 50 miles 4 days a week. I drive it about 100 miles on my 3 day weekends just shopping and playing.

I agree with you! Its fun and handles great. The hatch plus four doors helps fit people and cargo.


What is avg mpg? How is the tread life?

 

I'm still holding out for a wagon Focus ST . . . probably won't hold my breath for one though!

 

That would be cool to see a wagon! even a two door wagon.

 

Ford just please make an AWD version... I miss my old SVT Piranha so much (SVT Focus unoffical name) and if there was a current AWD one.. id be even more tempted!

 

if ford made the 2004 svt focus again I would buy it. I mean it! If they made the car just as they did in 2004.. the exact same for the same price I would be all over it.

haha, excellent. I am considering a focus ST in a year or 2 after my new house is finished, and i have room to park it. I had an SE before the stang and it was ok, but with an ecoboost i'd be all over it.

 

I bought the wife a SE the same day I got my ST. They are day and night. The steering, brakes, ride, cornering, seats, trans, turbo and the other ST goodies make it so fun. If my wife would drive stick she could of got my pimped out fiesta SES.
