Having owned a 2008 MS3, torque steer was bad.. the Revo-knuckle in the ST along with the other goodies the ST has will limit the Trq steer.. I should powerful as a MS3 with trq, but trq steer of the GTI.

But ddont get me wrong, i loved my MS3... that was a fun car. I traded in trq steer for powered oversteer problems

That's why I opted for a MS6. No torque steer.

FYI -ST not available with revo-knuckle, only TVC (Torque Vectoring Control).

I liked it. If I had to do it again, I'd get a GT with the black/white leather. If you're shopping for one, make sure you get one that has the revised clutch (if a 2006 model) and the upgraded diff bracing. Those were common failures in the earlier build '06 models.

I still have a soft spot for the Spicy Orange 2003 Mazdaspeed Protege myself.

I wonder if some of the other small car tuning companies like Cobb, CP-e, and AMS will jump in.

good to hear! im not actively looking but there will probably be another mazda parked next to the stangs someday.

and I am 100% with you on that protege. I used to pass one every day on the way to high school in my boring plain jane protege and lust after it all day.

If only there were mazdaspeed6 wagons, then life would be just grand

Jealous. I also have a softspot for the Mazdas. When I got my Escape, I almost got a Mazda3. I was looking at MS3s and MS6s, but they were more than my budget, and the new car was supposed to make me drive slower lol...

The girlfriend has a '09 Mazda6 S Touring. It's nice, but it doesn't have the soul that my Protege and MS6 did. It's going to become my DD or get traded for a Fusion shortly.
