First Ford sedan I have REALLY liked . . . in a while
I was a my dealership yesterday and saw a 2008 Fusion SE Sport Package/5-Speed.
Obviously I have seen the trim package on the internet but not in person. Sticker was $21,100.00. I loved the color combination. Interior was not the solid black/red combo on the seats, but a black/red plaid combination that looked very cool in my opinion. About the only things I could think of doing to it would be a set of Steeda lowering springs, Steeda strut tower brace, and Steeda kit to tighten up the 5-speed shifter. If I was in the market for a new sedan I would have purchased it on-the-spot.

I hate to say this, but I remember back in 2000 when I got my 1997 Dodge Intrepid. I liked that car a lot more than I like my Fusion. It was bigger, not as loud and a lot more powerful.
I should've bought a Taurus instead of Fusion.

To be honest Fusion is a great buy because in that price range it's impossible to get Camry and Accord. I got Fusion SE I4 with MSRP of $19,000 for "only" $15,500 and for that price it's impossible to get Camry and Accord (it's even impossible to get Corolla and Civic).
I drove new Camry and I hate to say it - but it's better car than Fusion. It's more quiet, more powerful and quality of interior is a lot better.
