Yeah it's not about excitement, it's a about recognition. If you're shopping for a Sedan and the ads in the paper say "XBL-TZ" or "Taurus," you're gonna give the ad for the Taurus another look just becuase you know it.
What is with the Taillights? Those are hideous!! and too much plastic chrome, chrome mirrors? door handles? overkill!
they need tot ake the front of the Taurus X and put it on it and cancel the X, the edge and flex should be the only crossover style vehicles, 3 is too many. Make the door handles bodycolor, I think the chrome around the glass is okay but would look better piano black or just body color. The front grille shold be brushed aluminum, or body color. The headlight surrounds should be black, like of the mustangs. I think they are getting somethings right and some things wrong.
the interior looks very nice but I personally dont like the plastic wood they put into cars, There should be an option for brushed aluminum or piano black for those dont like the wood grain (I know a lot of people do.)
I think it is a step in the right direction, but they need to be making leaps, not steps.
