F-150 is awesome truck. I have 2005 model, a tried both Chevy and Dodge and at the end I liked Ford more. If you want to find more info visit www.ford-trucks.com

One thing that confused me is engine size on that eBay link. It said that F-150 have 5.0L which can't be possible. In 2001 Ford offered 4.6L and 5.4L on F-150, not 5.0L.

I was worried mostly about the mileage, 102k, or is this fairly average for one of them?

Is that miles or kilometers?

Its not that high, F-150 usually can last over 200,000 miles without major problems. Even more if previous owner took good care of a truck.

Miles I think, what sort of price would a similar one to this go for in the USA?

$8,000-$9,000 should be a fair price.
But in the USA there are so many of them, so price might be a little cheaper compared to Europe.

Just FYI This is the etended-bed version, I don't know how important that could be on some of the UK's tighter roads. Other than that It's a solid truck.

You own '68 Charger?
That is my favorite car.

What's under the hood? Post few pictures if you have them.

If you really want F-150, I'll trade you my '05 F-150 (with only 3,600 miles) for Charger.

Is your Charger in original condition or was it restored?

I'm looking to get '68 Charger also after finishing college (I have 1.5 years left), but I'm looking for 440 or maybe even 440 Six Pack and black/red two-tone paint job. Something like Charger on the picture.

Charger

It's not the original color, I believe it sat in a field for years, I don't think it's ever had a full resto as such

Would you want a 318?

318 is not powerful enough for a car like Charger.

Probably not related to your specific issue but I have a 92 F150 4X4/5 Speed with 214,000 on it. Mechanically, it needed a new clutch at around 170K, a few alternators and of course, mufflers and brakes. Doesn't burn oil and it looks like its going to outlast me. IF the car has been maintained (oil changes, etc), 104K should not be a problem.
