F150 2011 ecoboost pricing.

Niot sure if anyone saw this yet.

2011 F150 pricing is out.

The 5.0L is $1000 over the base 3.7L.
The 3.5EB is $750 over the 5.0L.
The 6.2L is $1995 over the 5.0L.

Just thought it was interesting and wanted to share.

I gotta be honest, I'm perfectly happy with my Bullitt (WIP) and '07 SCrew FX4... but it'll be **** tempting when I get back not to trade in on some of the new things Ford is offering... Fiesta, Focus, Mustang, F-150...

My takaway, Ford could sella EB V6 Mustang for about the same price as the 5.0 and still make money. The F-150 5.0 should be cheaper to make than the one in the Mustang, no headers.

The price premiums for the EB 6 and the Boss 6.2 aren't too bad. The EB 6 just has to prove itself capable of surviving "in the real world". If it can, I wouldn't be surprised if boosted V6 F-150s handily outsell those with 5.0 V8s (probably what Ford wants to see too).

Since they are throwing in a complimentary track day and training, this is probably about right.
