I know this isn't really a question about a 2005 mustang, sorry
but I didn't really know where else to look.

I have a stock 2005 mustang GT, my dad has a 2004 F150 with
the 5.4-v8. He has mentioned on a number of occasions that he
wished his truck sounded as nice as my mustang. So I was wondering
if there was a muffler, or exhaust system available for the F150
that would make it sound more like the mustang. I know Flowmaster
makes one, but I'm afraid it will be more similar to my 94 mustang GT
(Mac equal length shorty headers, Flowmaster american thunder cat-back
and missing 2 catalitic converters) which would be much too loud him.

Again sorry for posting this here, but if anyone has any experience
concerning exhaust systems for the F150, or if someone could point
me to a good reliable forum for them I would appreciate it.

there are a lot of systems for the F150s. You can get magnaflow, or gibson, those are popular on those trucks.

www.summitracing.com
www.jegs.com
www.rpmoutlet.com

go to gibsons or magnaflows websites and get the right part no.

there is also something like www.truckaddons.com

good luck

Sam

Gibson exhaust adds a nice bit of rumble without too much of a snarl. Also when you look into the exhaust check how many chambers the mufflers are. The 3 chamber mufflers will be much quieter than a single chamber American Thunder system. I've personally heard the Gibson system and I think its really nice

Here's an F150 forum. http://www.f150online.com/forums/index.php
I used to look here when I was thinking about getting an F150. You'll be able to dig some here for opinions on exhausts.
