CDC's "Sweet ***". Ford GT Rear Bumper Delete

“Sweet ***”

Novi, MI…Ford GT is “Sweet” yes….but Classic Design Concepts can never leave even “sweet” alone they have now made the Ford GT ”Sweet ***”.

CDC designed a new rear end for the Ford GT. They have engineered a rear bumper delete system. This beautifully integrated kit was designed using cues from the original GT40, heritage. The system was engineered to use the factory Ford Racing/Borla muffler system, no cutting or permanent modification is required. The CDC bumper delete can be used with any exhaust system, but your tips will need to be shortened.

The “Sweet ***” Bumper Delete Kit is a full replacement part kit that includes; driver and passenger side frame horns, carbon composite filler panel with heat shield (paint required), new exhaust bezel, new lower mesh panel, and new shortened exhaust tips.

Founded in 1990, Classic Design Concepts, LLC., is a subsidiary of Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide (Nasdaq: QTWW), is an original designer and manufacturer of unique Original Equipment quality restyling products, supplying both the Original Equipment and aftermarket industry. For further information contact: Classic Design Concepts, Inc. 42860 W. Nine Mile Rd. Novi, MI 48375. www.classicdesignconcepts.com 866-624-7997.

Then wouldn't this kit be illegal?

Thats what I was thinking. Just imagine getting hit from behind and having the insurance adjuster seeing a Ford GT WITHOUT a rear bumper. Many questions would be asked about this.

I wouldn't think this is illegal, just not up to legal manufacturing standards. I think what you do after that is all up to you. I wouldn't assume that most body kits are designed to be "5 MPH bumpers" either...

In any case this is awesome. Exactly what I've thought the GT needed since day one.
