For me it's been all downhill stylistically since the Vanquish. Don't get me wrong these are good looking cars, but I always feared that the Vanquish would be tough (if not impossible) to top and IMO we are seeing the reality of that play out in the new models.

You kidding me? The Vanquish's exaggerated curves bordered on bulbous. It took these cars to make me realize how much potential the AM shape had.

Just the opposite for me. The Vanquish cuts a sleek profile, if not quite as svlete as the Vantage or DB9, but those bulges are in all the right places and make the Vanquish look seriously peeved, downright menacing in fact, much like the bulges found on cars like GT40's, 427 Cobra's, and even DB4 GT's. The Vanquish is beautiful, balanced, and menacing all at once.

The DB9 and AMV8 are both very pretty, but neither is what I would call menacing by any stretch and neither seems quite as balanced from an aesthetic point of view. Of course, any of them is far better looking than anything Ferrari has been able to muster since the 456 so I suppose good enough is good enough.

What's it mean to "drowl"? Is it anything like drooling...?

OK . . . since FMC still holds a 15% stake in AM I am going to move this to the Other Fords section.
