As to the photo: do you know where the original chop originated? Did it, in fact, originate from Ford, because it could be a real concept photo that's been kicking around. That article makes it sound as though that picture is, indeed, either the design they intend to use - or similar to it - because the pic doesn't look like the Mondeo...it looks like a toned-down Iosis.
Some are worried that the same car won’t fly in both markets. But that flies in the face of Mulally’s favorite benchmark, Toyota, which sells a global Corolla and Camry.

If the new Mondeo looks that good, it ought to trounce every other car in its segment.
